I am a motivated and compassionate Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a strong foundation in surgical care and a deep commitment to my work and my patients. My clinical journey has shaped me into a resilient, determined and detail oriented surgeon, with experience across demanding academic and hospital environments.

I offer a range of plastic, reconstructive and minor surgical procedures, with a focus on safe, patient-centred care. Treatment is tailored to each patient, and the most appropriate setting — in-room, day hospital or hospital theatre, will be discussed during consultation, depending on the type and extent of the procedure.

01 - MEDICAL JOURNEY
Medical Journey
My medical journey began in 2004 at the University of Pretoria, where I completed a Baccalaureus Scientiae (BSc) degree with specialisation in Human Physiology, graduating with distinction. I then continued my studies at the University of Pretoria and qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) in 2013.
02 - MEDICAL JOURNEY
Internship and Community Service
I completed my two-year internship at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, rotating through the required clinical departments in accordance with HPCSA regulations. This provided me with a broad and valuable foundation across multiple medical and surgical disciplines. I then completed my community service year at Far East Rand Hospital in the General Surgery Department, where I developed further experience in the assessment, management and follow-up care of surgical patients.
03 - Further Specialist Training
Further Specialist Training
I held a post as a Surgical Medical Officer at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, where I gained extensive experience across a range of surgical disciplines. In 2021, I commenced specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, rotating through various hospitals within the Wits circuit, including Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, Leratong Hospital, Helen Joseph Hospital and Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. I obtained my FC Plast Surg (SA) in 2025 and my Master of Medicine (MMed) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2026.
